During and after Project Blue Book, other nations besides the USA launched study campaigns into the phenomenon, obtaining the same inconclusive results. With the sole exception of ufology fanatics (often also lovers of conspir- acy), no government, no military force and no scientist has ever seri- ously believed that the Earth’s at- mosphere has been repeatedly visited by a jumble of alien tech- nologies. In the USA, this awareness, coupled with the fact that some sightings have taken place near military facilities, has gradually re- inforced the sus- picion that anot- insignificant part of the re- ported episodes might have to do with technologies from other na- tions, China in particular. This sce- nario led, in 2007, to the financing by the US government (and to the management by the Defense Intelli- gence Agency, or DIA) of the Ad- vanced Aviation Threat Identifica- tion Program (AATIP), a five-year in- vestigation that was supposed to es- tablish the level of danger of that phenomenon, which was now indi- cated with the less equivocal acronym UAP − Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Officially, the AATIP ended in 2012 without adding any- A Blue Book, with the guidelines of a questionnaire report relating to the first year of activity of Project (right) that the sightings investigators had to fill out based on the collected testimonies. Below is a form completed on January 30, 1956, following the sighting of what turned out to be a meteorological balloon. All such documents were initially covered by military secrecy. ﺑﺄن ا ﺸﺎﻫﺪات ا ﺼﻨﻔﺔ ﻋﲆ أﻧﻬﺎ " ﻣﺠﻬﻮﻟﺔ اﻟﻬﻮﻳ ـﺔ " ﺗُﻌ ـﺰى إﱃ ﺗﻘﻨﻴ ـﺎت ﻓﻀـﺎﺋﻴﺔ أو ا ﻌﺮﻓﺔ اﻟﻌﻠﻤﻴﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﻔﻮق ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﺘﻲ ﻛﺎﻧـﺖ ﰲ ذﻟﻚ اﻟﻮﻗﺖ ؛ ٣ ( ﻟﻢ ﻳﻜﻦ ﻫﻨﺎك دﻟﻴﻞ ﻋـﲆ اﻻﻋﺘﻘﺎد ﺑﺄن أﺟﺴﺎم ﻃﺎﺋﺮة ﻣﺠﻬﻮﻟﺔ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﻣﺮﻛﺒﺎت ﻗﺎدﻣﺔ ﻣـﻦ ﺧـﺎرج اﻷرض ، أﺛﻨـﺎء وﺑﻌﺪ ﻣﴩوع اﻟﻜﺘﺎب اﻷزرق أﻃﻠﻘـﺖ دول أﺧﺮى إﱃ ﺟﺎﻧﺐ اﻟﻮﻻﻳﺎت ا ﺘﺤـﺪة ﺣﻤـﻼت دراﺳﺔ ﺣﻮل ﻫﺬه اﻟﻈﺎﻫﺮة وﺣﺼـﻠﺖ ﻋـﲆ ﻧﻔﺲ اﻟﻨﺘـﺎﺋﺞ ﻏـ اﻟﺤﺎﺳـﻤﺔ ﺑﺎﺳـﺘﺜﻨﺎء ا ﺘﻌﺼﺒ ﰲ ﻋﻠﻢ اﻟﻴﻮﻓﻮﻟﻮﺟﻴﺎ ) ﻏﺎﻟﺒًـﺎ ﻣـﺎ ﻳﻜﻮﻧﻮن أﻳﻀًﺎ ﻣـﻦ ﻋﺸـﺎق ا ـﺆاﻣﺮة ﻟـﻢ ( ﺗﺼﺪق أي ﺣﻜﻮﻣﺔ وﻻ ﻗﻮة ﻋﺴﻜﺮﻳﺔ وﻻ أي ﻋﺎﻟﻢ ﻋﲆ اﻹﻃﻼق أن اﻟﻐﻼف اﻟﺠﻮي ﻟ ﻸرض ﻗﺪ ـــــــــــــــــــــــ ﻗﺪ ﺗﻤـﺖ زﻳﺎ رﺗـﻪ ﻣـﺮارًا وﺗﻜﺮارًا ﺑﻮاﺳﻄﺔ ﺧﻠـﻴﻂ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺘﻘﻨﻴﺎت اﻟﻔﻀﺎﺋﻴﺔ . إن ﻫﺬا اﻟﻮﻋﻲ ﰲ اﻟﻮﻻﻳﺎت ا ﺘﺤﺪة إﱃ ﺟﺎﻧﺐ ﺣﻘﻴﻘﺔ أن ﺑﻌـﺾ ا ﺸـﺎﻫﺪ ﻗـﺪ ﺣــﺪﺛﺖ ﺑــﺎﻟﻘﺮب ﻣــﻦ ﻣﻨﺸـﺂت ﻋﺴــﻜﺮﻳﺔ ﻗـﺪ ﻋ ـﺰز ﺑﺸـﻜﻞ ﺗــﺪرﻳﺠﻲ اﻟﺸـــﻚ ﰲ أن ﺟـــﺰءًا ﻻ ﻳﺴـــﺘﻬﺎن ﺑـــﻪ ﻣـــﻦ ا ﺸﺎﻫﺪات ا ﺒﻠـﻎ ﻋﻨﻬـﺎ ﻗ ـﺪ ﻳﻜ ـﻮن ﻟ ـﻪ ﻋﻼﻗ ـﺔ ﺑﺘﻘﻨﻴﺎت ﻣﻦ دول أﺧـ ﺮى ـ واﻟﺼ ﻋﲆ وﺟـﻪ اﻟﺨﺼـﻮص، أدى ﻫـﺬا اﻟﺴـﻴﻨﺎرﻳﻮ ﰲ ﻋـﺎم ٢٠٠٧ ﻟﺘﺨﺼﻴﺺ ﻟﺘﻤﻮﻳﻞ ﻣﻦ ﺣﻜﻮﻣﺔ اﻟﻮﻻﻳﺎت وإدارة وﻛﺎﻟـﺔ اﻻﺳـﺘﺨﺒﺎرات اﻟﺪﻓﺎﻋﻴﺔ ﻟﱪﻧﺎﻣﺞ ﺗﺤﺪﻳـﺪ ﺗﻬﺪﻳـﺪ اﻟﻄـ ان ا ﺘﻘـﺪم ) AATIP ( وﻫـﻮ ﺗﺤﻘﻴﻖ ﻣﺪﺗﻪ ﺧﻤﺲ ﺳﻨﻮات وﻛﺎن ﻳﻔﱰض أن ﻳﺜﺒـﺖ ﻣﺴـﺘﻮى ﺧﻄـﺮ اﻟﻈﻮاﻫﺮ اﻟﻐ ﻣﻔﻬﻮﻣﻪ ﺑﺸﻜﻞ ﺟﻴﺪ واﻟﺘﻲ ﻳﺸﺎر إﻟﻴﻬﺎ اﻵن (UAP) أو اﻟﻈﻮاﻫﺮ اﻟﺠﻮﻳﺔ ا ﺠﻬﻮﻟﺔ . ﻟﻘﺪ اﻧﺘﻬﻰ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﺑﻬـﺬا اﻟﱪﻧـﺎﻣﺞ ﺑﺸـﻜﻞ رﺳﻤﻲ ﰲ اﻟﻌﺎم ٢٠١٢ وﻟﻜﻦ ﺑﺪون إﺿﺎﻓﺔ أي ﻣﻌﻠﻮﻣﺎت أو ﺑﻴﺎﻧﺎت ذات أﻫﻤ ﻴﺔ ﺎ ﻛﺎن ﻣﻌﺮوﻓًﺎ ﻣﺴﺒﻘًﺎ ﻋﻦ ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﻈﻮاﻫﺮ اﻟﺠﻮﻳﺔ ا ﺠﻬﻮﻟﺔ . ﻣﺠﻠﺔ Astronomy ﺎﻟﻌﺮ ﺔ ١٧ ﺳﺒﺘﻤ أﻛﺘﻮﺑﺮ 2022 ﺗﻘﺮ ـــــﺮﻣﺘﻌﻠـــــﻖ ﺎﻟﺴـــــﻨﺔ اﻷوﻟـــــﻰﻣـــــﻦ ﻧﺸـــــﺎطﻣﺸـــــﺮوع اﻟﻜﺘـــــﺎب اﻷزرق ﻣـــــﻊ إرﺷــﺎدا ت اﻻﺳــﺘﺒ ﺎن ) ــﺎن ﻋﻠــﻰﻣﺤﻘﻘــﻲ اﻟﻤﺸــﺎﻫﺪة ﻣﻠــﺆﻩ اﻟ ﺴــﺎراﻟــﺬ ﺗـﻢ ﻤﻌﻬـﺎ ﻨﺎءً ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺸﻬﺎدات اﻟ . أدﻧـﺎﻩ ﻧﻤـﻮذج ﺎﻣـﻞ اﻟﺒ ﺎﻧـﺎت ﺘـﺎر ﺦ ٣٠ ﻨــﺎﻳﺮ ١٩٥٦ ـــﺔ و ﻤﻴـــﻊ ـــﺎﻟﻮن ﻟﻸرﺻـــﺎد ا ﻮ ﻌـــﺪ ﻣﺸـــﺎﻫﺪة ﻣـــﺎ اﺗﻀــﺢ أﻧــﮫ ﻫﺬﻩ اﻟﻮﺛﺎﺋﻖ ﺎﻧﺖﻣﺤﺠﻮ ﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟ ﺪا ﺔ ﺗﺤﺖ ﻨﺪ اﻟﺴﺮﺔ اﻟﻌﺴﻜﺮ ﺔ .
